This is one of the Bridgwater Circle series of paintings image captured while walking around Kings Square Bridgwater, Somerset. An ornate metal railing loops and leaves, a very organic, charming addition to Bridgwater’s urban landscape.
I have painted a small section of a broken piece of ornate iron work that has brilliantly been rescued and preserved by the owners of this wall. I just love the looping curves and strong colours from the background.
