Ash Blake

This is one of the Bridgwater Circle series of paintings image captured while walking in Blake gardens near the River Parrot and the town centre Bridgwater, Somerset. Looking down on the top of a rubbish bin that is used by smokers to extinguish cigarettes, this is one of my ashtray paintings.
The pattern embossed into the top of the Blake garden bins is attractive, the pattern rich with interesting tooth, claw, bones, arrows and key like shapes arranged in a circle.
